Rustic Tattoos is a small Halifax studio built on illustrative color, neo-traditional, and clean black-and-grey work. Bring an idea or a rough sketch, our artists draw it with you, then put it on your skin to wear for good.
Whether it's your first piece or your fortieth, Rustic is meant to feel easy. Clients tell us the same things over and over: clean, comfortable, no attitude. We talk the design through, sanitize like it matters, and don't rush the part that gets inked once and stays.

Clean black-and-grey and illustrative work that reads well up close and ages well over the years.

Sit down, talk through the idea, placement, and sizing before anything is committed. We listen closely and suggest where it helps.
Reworking older or unfinished pieces into something you actually want to keep, designed case by case.

Rustic Tattoos
Rustic Tattoos sits on Sackville Street in the middle of downtown Halifax, a block off Spring Garden. It's a tight crew of working artists, Greg (@tattooer82) and Brianna (@brianna.tattoo), who care more about doing the piece right than putting on a show. The result is a studio locals quietly send their friends to.

Share a reference or a rough idea. We talk through concept, placement and size before anything is booked.
Your piece is drawn for the spot it will live on, then refined together until it is right.
A clean station, a steady hand, and a comfortable pace from first line to last.
Clear care notes so a fresh piece settles and heals exactly the way it was drawn.
Open Tuesday through Saturday, noon to six. Walk in to chat or check the flash, or message the artists directly to book a custom piece. We tattoo 18 and over only.
